en{coded}fields was born as an offspring of Zaha Hadid Studio at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. This is a workshop series meant to forward the legacy of the Studio’s philosophy and teaching methods in order to generate debate on localized issues, based on various event’ locations.
The name is a reflection of double meaning; on the one hand as design-heuristics by the necessity of introducing meaning in the architectural territories and on the other hand as modi-operandi, through the use of coding or parametric design to help solve and articulate complex architectural societal functions.
